UAE unemployment insurance scheme is optional for free zone employees, ministry confirms

The UAE's Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation has confirmed that the signing up to the unemployment insurance programme is optional for free zone employees. They also confirmed that the scheme is optional for employees at local and semi-government bodies too.
